NDC Consultancy were appointed by West Northamptonshire Council as the Principal Contractor to manage the upgrade works at Moulton Leisure Centre, focusing on the replacement and enhancement of the movable floor system within the main swimming pool.

The project formed part of the Council’s ongoing investment in maintaining and improving local leisure facilities, ensuring they continue to provide safe, modern, and high-quality amenities for the community.

Working collaboratively with Everyone Active (SLM), the facility’s operator, and Variopool, specialists in advanced movable floor technology for swimming pools, NDC successfully coordinated and delivered all aspects of the refurbishment.

Our team provided full on-site project management and labour support during the strip-out phase, ensuring the safe and efficient removal of existing equipment before installation of the new system. Throughout the works, we maintained strict adherence to health and safety protocols, minimised disruption to the wider facility, and ensured that the project was completed to the Council’s specifications and standards.
